Online student writing center

 YOURpath's online writing center helps students improve their writing skills to become better, confident writers.   Students can submit any written assignment that they need help improving and receive assistance at every stage of the writing process: brainstorming, outlining, organizing, formatting, citing, and proofreading.  Students receive clear, student-friendly instructions on improving their writing skills, including grammar, mechanics, cohesiveness, formatting, etc.  Our writing specialists evaluate assignments within 24-72 hours based on our customize rubric. The rubric categories include: 

  • Focus, purpose, thesis (controlling ideas)
  • Ideas, support & development (evidence)
  • Structure organization 
  • Audience, tone and point of view
  • Sentence structure (grammar)
  • Mechanics and Presentation
  • Vocabulary and word choice
